Rejected test-pressings:

Initial Test Pressings had a 1/10 second delay on 'Lowdown Streamline' due to an error in the DAT tapes. Because of this, some Rejected Test Pressings exist.

The story behind the release:

From the original Human fly tape to the Grim release...  Christmas of 2012 the label was approached by Jimmy Danger of Danger Limited stating that he thought the original pressing plates could be obtained from Marty Klontz owner of Human Fly Records for the original Henry & June release.

The label reached out to Marty and struck a deal.  Included in the deal was the original pressing plates, an original human fly H&J test pressing, and the original hand made cover mockup for the release.
This is where the fun began.  The original records were pressed by United Record Pressings (URP) in Nashville so the plates were sent back there to see if they could be used in a repress.  URP informed the label the specific presses used for these types of plates were since sold to Gotta Groove Records.  The plates were then sent to Gotta Groove Records where they tried to use them but the chrome plating was starting to separate from the plates in several places so they were basically useless.

Grimtale Records reached back out to Marty as it felt like a dead end at this point to bring the record to life again.  Marty stated he thought he had the original DAT tape from the recording session and sure enough a month or two later, it was found and sent to the label.  It wasn't easy finding anyone that could rip a DAT tape in today's times but eventually, a company was found and the songs were ready for use.

The audio files were sent to Gotta Groove where test pressings were made.  At 2:47 into the b side, there was a 1/10 of a second skip in audio.  DAT tape was sent back to the company for another rip, this time without the skip.  Finally good test pressings were made and the record was brought to life.  This entire process took a little over a year to transpire with lots of anxious moments along the way.
